Oregon Waterfalls
When I first visited the Pacific Northwest, I traveled to the Columbia River Gorge and I saw Multnomah Falls. I was captivated by its height, power of rushing water and beauty with the surrounding landscape. Since that day in 2008, I try to visit as many waterfalls as I can when I travel. I often choose hikes based on whether or not there is some type of water. I love the contrast of a mountain, rock or forest with a waterfall. To me, that is one of the most beautiful natural creations.
About the photographer/blogger:
I’m Margie… a teacher turned family travel blogger. Since I got married 12 years ago, my husband introduced me to the joys of traveling. With our two kids, we have traveled around the country and our goal is visiting all 50 states before they graduate high school. I started the blog to keep a record of our travels and share with others how we travel so frequently on a budget and any other useful family vacation tips. I’m from Miami, FL (born and raised) and will be moving to the Northeast this summer.
